College of the Redwoods Celebrates Completion of New Field and Track
Published on Jun 26 2025College of the Redwoods is excited to announce the completion of a new artificial turf field and resurfaced track at its Community Stadium, marking a major step forward in the college’s efforts to revitalize this vital athletic and community venue.
With the field and track now in use by student-athletes and school programs, the next phase of the stadium renovation is already in motion. Planned improvements include new bleachers and critical upgrades to the stadium’s electrical systems.
“This reimagined community stadium represents the commitment that the Board of Trustees and administration has for our student athletes,” said CR President Dr. Keith Flamer. “The feel of the new community stadium has dramatically changed, providing a new artificial field for football and soccer, a new track, and new seating options for an improved experience for fans. We are not done yet! The next phase of the renovation project will include a new press box, additional seating, improved ADA access, and a renovated concession stand.”
